Soluna was founded in 2025 by Elena Reindl and resident DJ Daniel Himmler (Destro).

Elena comes from a family in gastronomy and works in marketing. That is where our close connection to wineries comes from, and why every Soluna event is planned down to the last detail. For Daniel, music has always been his passion. As our resident DJ he shapes the sound of every Soluna event.

We wanted to show how beautiful our home region is. So we started in southeast Styria, with our first event at Weingut Leitgeb on 30 May 2025.

The idea behind Soluna has stayed the same since then: you don’t have to fly far to experience something special. Some of the most beautiful places are right here in Austria, and we want to show them, with the right music.

Soluna is not a typical afro house party. Our sound blends house and melodic techno: melodic, full of energy and made for unforgettable moments in the mountains.

Over the past seasons we have also welcomed headliners such as Philipp Straub and Valenzuela & Sauber (Bausa and Joshi Mizu).

We want to pass on a feeling: enjoy the music, the people and the moment, and stop overthinking for a while. Whether it is an afternoon in the sun between the vines or a day up at a ski hut, at Soluna you are simply there to enjoy it.

Wineries are what makes Soluna different. They are where we started, and they are still our favourite places to play. That is why we are especially open to requests from wineries.

We also want to bring the younger generation closer to wine and to the wineries of our region.

Today Soluna is well established across Austria, from southeast Styria and Lake Wörthersee to ski huts in Salzburg, Styria and Carinthia.

In every collaboration it matters to us that the event brings real added value to the venue: new guests, attention for the location and a day that fits the place. We run Soluna professionally, and it is our absolute passion.

We want to keep growing. Next to more events across Austria, we definitely see Soluna abroad in the future.
